Daniel is a Senior Chartered Engineer with more than 20 years in the industry.

Daniel started his career as a site-based Installation and Maintenance Engineer. In this role he gained exposure to the working aspects of buildings; plant equipment, plantroom sizes/layouts, emergency/life safety, O&M procedures, controls, and system interfacing.

In 2006 he moved into building services design. Daniel has worked on a variety of projects: commercial, healthcare, office, residential, pharmaceutical/laboratories, educational, sport/leisure, data centres, airports, and hotels. He has successfully led design teams in delivering buildings of historical significance and listed or graded nature, many with stringent planning requirements.

He has experience in all stages of design and is confident in conceptual analysis, construction, commissioning, and post-occupancy.

Daniel’s experience enables him to excel at pre- and post-occupancy surveys, lifecycle and condition reporting, plant replacement, and cost forecasting.

Currently, Daniel is leading the Mechanical and Public Health design teams for the Silvertown redevelopment, working on plot designs at multiple stages from feasibility through to construction.
