Maria joined the team in November 2020, as a graduate structural engineer.
She studied civil engineering at the Central University of Venezuela and then did her Master’s Degree in Structural and Construction Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia.
She worked as a structural engineer in Barcelona, mostly on residential and commercial buildings in South America, the majority very tall and with structural irregularities. She also worked with a bridge design company, working on a high speed railway bridge in Spain.
In Venezuela, she worked as civil engineer in the structures field, specifically in the oil and gas sector.
