Valentina joined Bryden Wood as an Associate in July 2022.

She qualified as an architect with a degree from the University of Florence, Italy, in 2004. She started her professional experience in Italy where she worked for three years on the new Children's Hospital of Florence, and another three years on mixed-used buildings, such as residential, shopping centres, an auditorium, offices, educational buildings, etc.

She moved to the UK in 2010, and continued working on healthcare sector projects. She took part in large-scale design projects such as the Alder Hey Children's Hospital in Liverpool, the new National Children's Hospital in Dublin, the new frontage building of Great Ormond Street Hospital and a new Specialist Emergency Care Hospital in London.

She  also worked on healthcare designs projects in South America. Between 2015 and 2016, she was project team lead for the refurbishment and extension of a historic building converted into a new community centre and outpatient clinic in Santiago, Chile. It completed in May 2021.

She is currently working on major healthcare projects at Bryden Wood.
