Bryden Wood Greece is looking for graduate mechanical and electrical engineers to join our international and dynamic MEP team. Bryden Wood is a leading international company of creative technologists, designers, architects, engineers and analysts and our integrated teams work across a broad range of projects and sectors.

As a graduate engineer, you’ll have the opportunity to work in a cutting-edge and fast-paced design environment, collaborating with – and learning from – the multiple disciplines across the company. You’ll support and help senior engineers to develop and deliver complex and exciting projects in a wide variety of sectors and locations across the globe. Our projects range from railways to hospitals to large scale residential developments to carbon-neutral office buildings to large Data Centres.

About you:

We’d like you to be proactive, curious, and excited by problem-solving. You’ll need good analytical ability and to be able and willing to work well with others.

You will have:

  • Real enthusiasm for engineering design. You’ll be keen to work in a challenging design environment.
  • Great interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
  • A good theoretical knowledge of hydraulics, thermodynamics, HVAC and public health principals, power generation, low voltage systems, renewable energy systems and relevant design standards
  • Highly effective problem-solver who takes an organised and systematic approach to solving design problems.
  • Willingness to learn modelling software, including AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Interest in emerging technologies and innovations in the construction industry.
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word and Excel).

Experience and education:

  • Have a relevant Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree with a minimum of an upper-second class with honours (or 8.5/10 equivalent from Greek Universities – “Arista”), from a recognised institution (Master’s preferred but not essential)
  • Fluency in spoken and written English
  • Relevant experience of working in either a design office or within the construction industry, for example through a placement/internship, is preferred but not essential
  • Interest in progressing towards chartership with CIBSE or T.E.E.
