We are expanding our team in Athens to work on large scale projects for the biggest names in "Big Tech" and the Industrial sector. 

We are looking for an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer to join our integrated team in Athens, who understands large-scale systems and contributes to the delivery of our Data Centre and large-scale industrial projects. This is your chance to work in a truly international environment, fully integrated with our UK HQ, in a multi-disciplinary environment.

THE ROLE

You will be a key member of our international projects, working closely with all the other disciplines (Architecture, Structures, Civils and Sustainability) and clients to deliver innovative designs.

  • Support mechanical technical design (HVAC, Cooling, Piping, ventilation) for all project stages (From Concept to Construction) including carrying out calculations, concept development, and project delivery.
  • Strong understanding of critical cooling systems, variable flow closed-circuit water systems, and equipment selection.
  • Capable of producing mechanical drawings, single-line diagrams (SLDs), and service distribution layouts, ensuring all designs align with technical specifications.
  • Ensure full compliance with local European regulations.
  • Work concurrently on multiple projects from concept through to delivery.
  • Use a solution-based approach to solve complex thermal and fluid dynamic problems.

WHAT WE NEED

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
  • Must-Have: Solid grasp of Mechanical Technical design
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience, preferably with previous experience in Data Centre or mission critical Projects in UK and Europe.
  • Experience: Solid experience on Large-Scale Industrial/Infrastructure projects. Data Centre experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Language: Full professional fluency in spoken and written in English.
  • Revit & Navisworks: Competent in the use of Revit and Navisworks is preferable.
