Tanya is a Project Manager, specialising in Agile techniques, primarily for the Front End Factory initiative with GlaxoSmithKline (GSK).
Before joining Bryden Wood, she worked in FinTech (Finance/Technology), scoping and managing software development projects for banks and FinTech start-ups.
Originally trained as a Structural Engineer, she worked for a number of consultancies in Ireland and London before making the move to Business Analysis and Project Management.
In 2015, she moved back into the Construction sector, joining Bryden Wood with a view to introducing the benefits of Agile Project Management to non-IT projects, while also leveraging her experience as a Structural Engineer.
Tanya’s primary focus is ensuring that both the projects undertaken, and solutions developed, are right for the client and deliver maximum value. Incremental, iterative design, close collaboration with stakeholders and openness to change are key to this.
Tanya works closely with stakeholders to identify the business need and value drivers for projects. She then brings together and manages multi-disciplinary, multi-national and multi-organisational teams to quickly identify and develop value-adding and innovative solutions. Minimising initial CapEx and project risk, by designing small, modular, flexible and expandable solutions, is a recurring theme.
