New technology acceleration: From first-of-a-kind to scalable product

The technologies needed to decarbonise the global economy already exist. What is missing is the ability to deploy them at the speed and scale the challenge demands. Most new technologies stall between proof of concept and commercial rollout. The first installation is expensive and bespoke, and without a deliberate productisation strategy, the second is almost as hard as the first.
